Let me introduce myself as a photographer. My name is Jordi Roca Zanuy. Born in 1969 in Manresa (Barcelona, south Europe). I studied in ESCAC filmschool as film production designer specialized in film script analysis&development later on MEGA master. Photography has been my hobbie since I was 16 years old and I shot&sold group photos of classmates to raise money to pay our final school summer trip to Mallorca.

It wasn’t until 2015 that I began to deepen my knowledge of photography and devote more time to it. I started participating in photo contests as a way to measure my progression as a self taught photographer and make my work shown. In 2021, I won my first international award.

Outside the photographic world, general knowledge in the study of human behavior and scientific discoveries have always been interests throughout my life. And, another one of my passions is dancing.
